 This week, Year 4 have been further solidifying their already brilliant place value knowledge. They have been busy at work, representing and partitioning a whole range of numbers and even tackling some pretty tricky problem solving questions too.

RE Day - Remembering (Janmashtami)

 Today’s RE Day has focussed on the concept of remembering. We talked about what we remember and why, and how we show our remembering through celebrations and events. We talked about Christians and how Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus. We then compared this to the Hindu festival of Jamashtami, which celebrates the birth of Krishna. We had some fascinating discussions and considered how the concept applies to many areas of our own lives.
