Computing - Turtle Graphics

 Today in Computing, we were introduced to a brand new programming environment: Turtle Graphics.

We loved finding out how to program using the text commands, and enjoyed making some fantastic patterns using the software. Please browse a selection below!

RE Day - Remembering (Janmashtami)

 Today’s RE Day has focussed on the concept of remembering. We talked about what we remember and why, and how we show our remembering through celebrations and events. We talked about Christians and how Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Jesus. We then compared this to the Hindu festival of Jamashtami, which celebrates the birth of Krishna. We had some fascinating discussions and considered how the concept applies to many areas of our own lives.
